Digital Corruption
Degrade your audio through the Corrupt engine to get the lossy, compressed, broken artifacts of decaying digital audio.

GX-8600 is a creative-effects playground for sound designers, beat makers, and producers who want their audio bent, smeared, frozen, repeated, shredded, or slowly degraded.
Stutter a vocal through 8-bit nostalgia. Freeze a held grain into screaming digital artifacts. Scatter a drum loop through a 56k modem. Reverse a snare into low-bandwidth MP3 compression. Stretch a chord into data-loss artifacts. Every combination opens a door to a new sound.
The glitch engine is built around a tempo-synced clock that fires rhythmic grains through one of 11 modes: chops, freezes, reverses, scratches, scatters, stretches, and more. Tune the grain length, dial in the repeat count, pick one of 8 rhythmic patterns, and shape each grain with an optional envelope.
The corrupt engine is 7 different ways digital audio breaks down: 8-bit arcade crunch, sample decimation, low-bandwidth modem, packet loss, lossy compression, CD read errors, and ring modulation. Pick one, dial in the Amount, and use the 5-position Movement control to shape how the corruption evolves over time.
A multi-mode filter sits at the end of the chain in one of four modes: high-pass, low-pass, band-pass, or band-reject. Cutoff, resonance, and a 5-position slope from a gentle 6 dB/oct to a surgical 96 dB/oct round it out. Sweep it with an LFO for instant wahs, or notch out frequencies the corrupt section made too aggressive.
Four independent LFOs add another layer of motion. Each one can target any parameter in the chain at any rate, synced or free. Stack a few on different destinations and a static patch evolves on its own, opening up sounds you'd never find with knobs alone.
50 factory presets walk the range from surgical chops to full destruction. Each one is a complete starting point you can audition, tweak, or use as inspiration for your own patches.
